🪜 Steps to Become a CA in India (Updated ICAI Scheme 2023)
1️⃣ Register for CA Foundation
Register after 10th or 12th.
Minimum 4 months study period required.
Appear in May/Nov attempt.

2️⃣ Pass CA Foundation Exam
Subjects: Accounting, Law, Mathematics, Business Economics.
Objective + Subjective paper.
Pass with 50% aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
3️⃣ Register for CA Intermediate (Both Groups)
After clearing Foundation, register for CA Intermediate.
Minimum 8 months study period.
4️⃣ Undergo ICITSS (Information Technology & Soft Skills Training)
Before starting Articleship.
Duration: 1 month (15 days IT + 15 days soft skills)
5️⃣ Pass CA Intermediate Exam
Two groups (Group I & II).
Must pass both to proceed.
6️⃣ Start 2 Years Articleship Training
Work under a CA firm or practicing CA.
Gain real-world finance & audit experience.
7️⃣ Register and Prepare for CA Final
During last 6 months of Articleship.
Undergo Advanced ICITSS (similar to Step 4).
8️⃣ Pass CA Final Exam
Two groups again.

9️⃣ Apply for ICAI Membership
After completing Final & Articleship.
